Programme Eligibility

In order to participate in the TechSoup New Zealand technology donations programme, New Zealand charities, voluntary and community groups are required to meet both the core eligibility criteria outlined below and the separate eligibility criteria for all of our partners.

In all cases you will need to be registered as a charitable organisation under the New Zealand Charities Act 2005. To demonstrate this you will need to provide at least one of the following:

• Your Charities Commission Registration Number
• Copy of your IRD tax exempt status letter

If your organisation does have charitable status that is not reflected in the Charities Commission Register you will need to fax a copy of your original IRD document to TechSoup New Zealand Registrations on +618 8311 5213. If your organisation is not listed on the Charities Commission Register and is unable to produce a copy of your original IRD document we will be unable to qualify your organisation for donations.
