The Core Device CAL Suite is a set of device CALs (Client Access Licenses) for key Microsoft server technologies: Windows Server, Exchange Server, SharePoint Server, and Systems Management Server.

One Core Device CAL Suite gives one computer or other device access to these servers regardless of the number of users.

The Core Device CAL Suite contains the following licenses:

  • Windows Server Device CAL
  • Exchange Server Device CAL - Standard
  • SharePoint Server Standard Edition Device CAL
  • Systems Management Server 2003 CML

User CALs are also available. A user CAL gives one user access to these servers on any number of computers and other devices.

Note: This license does not require media.

Features: 
Under the Software Assurance programme, customers acquire the right to install any new release of products covered in the agreement during the term of their coverage.
