Description:
This user client access license (CAL) permits one user (using any device) to access the services and technologies of Essential Business Server, Microsoft's bundle of enterprise-level server applications and services for 300 users or fewer.
User CALs are most effective when an employee uses several devices to access the server, such as a work computer and a home computer. Device CALs are also available. With device CALs, any user can access the server on the licensed device.
This CAL can also be used to access instances of Exchange Server 2007, SQL Server 2008, or any other Windows servers within the Essential Business Server 2008 domain.
Note: This licence does not require media, licence keys, or setup codes.

- Under the Software Assurance programme, customers acquire the right to install any new release of products covered in the agreement during the term of their coverage.
