Microsoft Lync Server Device CAL - Plus (Includes Software Assurance)

This plus device client access licence (CAL) can be used only in conjunction with a standard Lync Server device CAL. It supports the enterprise telephony capabilities of Lync Server on one computer, regardless of the number of users (for example, on a shared workstation).

Audio, video, and web conferencing and application-sharing capabilities for Lync Server require a separate licence, the enterprise CAL. To enable all features, all three CALs (standard, enterprise, and plus) are needed.

User CALs are also available. A user CAL allows one user to access Lync Server's enterprise telephony capabilities on any number of computers or other devices (for example, when an employee accesses the server from a computer at work and another at home).

Licence Only: This licence does not require media, licence keys, or setup codes.

Software Assurance: Under the Software Assurance program, you have the right to install any new release of products covered in the agreement during the term of your coverage.
