Microsoft Math is a set of mathematical tools that can help students solve problems and gain a better understanding of mathematical concepts, from pre-algebra through calculus. The primary tool in Microsoft Math is a full-featured scientific calculator with extensive graphing and equation-solving capabilities. It's designed to work like a handheld calculator but offers additional tools that deepen students' knowledge of complex mathematics.

The other tools include:

  • The Step-by-Step Equation Solver, which coaches students to develop problem-solving skills
  • The Formulas and Equations Library, which puts more than 100 common equations and formulas in a single location
  • The Triangle Solver, a graphing tool that helps students explore and understand relationships between different components of triangles
  • The Unit Conversion Tool, which makes it easy for students to convert units of measure

Installing this product requires a license key and installation media. After your order is processed, instructions for obtaining the license key will be sent to your organisation email address.

Features: 
  • Under the Software Assurance programme, customers acquire the right to install any new release of products covered in the agreement during the term of their coverage.
  • Ink Handwriting Support works with tablet and ultra-mobile PCs, so students can write out problems by hand and have them recognized.
  • An animated slider lets students make changes to an equation and see the effect on the graph.
  • Adding and storing variables and reusing common numbers and expressions helps save time when there are multiple problems to solve.
  • Students can view, rotate, and animate large 2D and enhanced 3D color graphs.
