Microsoft SharePoint Server Device CAL Suite (Includes Software Assurance)

Microsoft SharePoint Server Device Client Access License (CAL) suite is a set of Microsoft SharePoint Server Device CALs for Microsoft SharePoint Server that authorises one computer to access Microsoft SharePoint Server, regardless of the number of users, for example on a shared workstation.

It includes:

• One Microsoft SharePoint Server Standard Edition Device CAL, which authorises one computer to access the services of Microsoft SharePoint Server, regardless of the number of users.
• One Microsoft SharePoint Server Enterprise Edition Device CAL, which allows one computer to access the Enterprise functionality of Microsoft SharePoint Server Enterprise Edition. It can only be used in conjunction with a Microsoft SharePoint Server Standard Edition Device CAL.

Microsoft SharePoint Server User CAL Suites are also available. A Microsoft SharePoint Server User CAL Suite authorises a user to access the full functionality of Microsoft SharePoint Server from any device (for example, when an employee accesses the server from a computer at work and another at home).
