Microsoft Small Business Server Single Premium Device CAL (Includes Software Assurance)

This device client access license (CAL) permits one device (such as acomputer or mobile phone — used by any user) to access all the servicesand technologies of Small Business Server 2008 Premium Edition,Microsoft’s bundle of server applications and services for 75 users orfewer.

Device CALs are most effective when several employees use the samedevice to access the server, such as for rotating shifts in a callcenter. User CALs are also available. With user CALs, licensed userscan access the server from any device.

This premium CAL is required only if a device needs access to theapplications exclusive to Small Business Server 2008 Premium Editionthat optionally run on a second hardware server; otherwise, anonpremium Small Business Server CAL may be used.

This CALs can also be used to access additional servers running Windows Server or Exchange Server.
