About the Facilitator: Olivia Marlowe Giovetti

Olivia Marlowe-Giovetti is a digital Swiss Army knife whose work as Account Strategist Whaler at Whole Whale combines client account management with digital strategy analysis and a focus on content insight.
At Whole Whale, Olivia has worked with improving the SEO strategies and data reporting systems for clients including Idealist, the Lung Cancer Foundation of America, Concern Worldwide U.S., and the Mental Health Association of New York City. Her SEO fingerprints have also shown up on Whole Whale’s work with AFS-USA, the One Love Foundation, the Peter G. Peterson Foundation, and Fund Good Jobs.
Olivia has led workshops and lectures with the Nonprofit Coordinating Committee of New York’s 2017 Learning Lab, the Center for Court Innovation, Chamber Music America, Columbia University, and Bard College. She also co-hosted Whole Whale University’s course on content marketing and SEO. She is certified in Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and UX.
She comes to the team from 21C Media Group, where she handled online imaging, branding, and marketing for a roster of top-level classical musicians and performing artists (favorite projects: launching a new website for Plácido Domingo and coordinating a fundraiser to benefit the UNHCR on behalf of Rolando Villazón). Prior to 21C, Olivia coordinated logistics for the New York Philharmonic’s Spring 2013 tour of Europe while also managing its social media platforms — increasing Facebook engagement by 385% over a six-month period. As a journalist, she served on Time Out New York’s editorial staff and was a blogger/host for WQXR/Q2 Music. Her writings have also appeared in the Washington Post, Paper, NPR, VAN, and Gramophone.
Outside of the arts, Olivia is passionate about refugee rights, mental health awareness, and freedom of expression. Her studies have taken her to Moscow, Rome, and New York and she’s currently pursuing her Master’s in Divinity Studies. On weekends, you can find her teaching meditation classes at MNDFL.
