Last year KiwiSkills donated a limited number of International Computer Driver Licence (ICDL) online training programmes to the value of approximately $300K to the NFP Sector. These trainings were limited to three per organisation.

We're pleased to say that this offer is still open to those who still want to take advantage of it.

So, if you haven't yet done so , now's your chance to consider this amazing offer to increase your organisation's digital literacy.

If you're looking to give your staff or volunteers computer skills training opportunities that don’t cost and get the most out of your TechSoup software donations, then look no further!

Ensure your people can perform tasks confidently, effectively and efficiently in a digital environment, i.e. when using a computer and enrol them in a ICDL training programme now for free.

Before doing the training, anyone can first try out the free digital analyser at www.kiwiskills.co.nz to measure their current skillset. Just click the button to the right-hand side of the home page to complete a free assessment.

In this day and age, digital literacy is an essential life skill—something that thanks to KiwiSkills and TechSoup New Zealand—you, your staff and volunteers can now access for free!

KiwiSkills is an initiative from the non-profit NZ Computer Society Inc (NZCS) to provide one-stop access to tools and resources for kiwis to improve their computing skills.  Kiwis lose around 4 weeks of work a year in lost productivity, per person, by not dealing with digital literacy in the workplace.

Recently, we sent out a short survey for all those who received the original offer to respond with your thoughts.  Many have already done this, but if you haven't we'd still welcome your thoughts and urge you to respond.  Your feedback is important to us to ensure we know how this offer has been received and the extent to which organisations have taken it up.

Click on this link to the survey or copy and paste it into your browser address line: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/CKTPBXB.  The survey will take just a few minutes of your time.
