Sustaining Real Community Value in Tough Times
120 delegates came together for the sixth Not-For-Profit conference in Wellington on February 19 and 20. We know that IT capacity is an important issue for community organisations in New Zealand, and were delighted to see that several other IT services and products were on display.

We know that IT capacity is an important issue for community organisations in New Zealand, and were delighted to see that several other IT services and products were on display. Consultants for cloud solutions, accounting packages and relationship management services were very much in evidence. It seems messages about the need and interests in these products might finally be getting through.
Many people were not aware that refurbished computers are available through TechSoupNZ, and in this picture Tina Reid is discussing refurbished computers with Nicola Sutton, CEO of English Language Partners.
The programme featured largely New Zealand speakers and provided great case studies and key note presentations about how organisations are facing up to challenges in the current environment. The evaluation forms provided great feedback to the organisers:
-
Inspiring, thought provoking and very valuable
- Connecting, challenging,
leading
- Enlightening, informative,
loved the case studies!
- Positive energy,
informative - practical ideas and tips
- Self-check whether I am
up-to-date with the sector
- Networking, stimulating,
well structured.
So if you weren't there this year - we encourage you to consider it next year!
