Using today's technology for tomorrow's outcomes
The evolution of technology is accelerating, and in the rush of new products and services it is easy to get overwhelmed. While the future seems daunting, in reality there are already dozens of low-cost tools and techniques emerging today that can transform the way you operate your organisation. Social enterprise tools, 3D printing, sensor networks and data analytics are just some of the technologies that organisations are harnessing to deliver real results. This presentation will explore many of these technologies and provide real world examples of how organisations are using them today – while also providing a glimpse into some of the possibilities that lie ahead as we become a high-speed broadband society.

Be networked, use measurement and make sense of your data
Not-for-profits are taking advantage of social media's ability to facilitate and expand their impact by combining an organisational strategy with their professional online networks to connect, build relationships and establish trust and thought leadership. This way of operating goes beyond simply using tools like Facebook or Twitter and requires a networked mindset where openness and being 'data-informed' are essential. This interactive presentation will explore how not-for-profit leaders can improve their organisation's social media use and embrace best practices of a networked not-for-profit, including measurement and learning, and avoiding some of the pitfalls and challenges.
