NetSquared Auckland is growing

NetSquared Auckland is picking
up steam, and building a following after running a second successful meet-up at
the end of September. Approximately 20 guests joined Corrie Dark, World Vision
New Zealand's digital manager at The Kitchen as she shared her valuable insights
and expertise on the marketing and technology landscape, in particular how to
create a strong social media foundation.
Corrie reminded guests that the social media space is not an advertising space; and as such it's a privilege, not a right, to have conversations with your audience through social networks.
She urged guests to keep things simple; to understand the time and money needed, the key objectives you aim to achieve and to know your audience before you get started.
Corrie then shared the importance of the circle of conversation, - to acquire, to convert, to engage, to grow - and to continue this cycle to build your audience and increase their following, understanding and participation.
Organiser Lindsey Talerico-Hedren says that the session was really valuable and with interest growing, momentum is building for NetSquared Auckland.
"After our last session, there is much reason to believe Net2 Auckland future meet-ups will hit some great topics and create worthwhile conversation".
The next meet-up will be held in late October. Details are yet to be confirmed, however if you'd like to find out more, contribute to the conversation or be part of future events simply sign up via Meetup or follow Lindsey on Twitter and look out for the hashtag #Net2Akl.
