The 220 V ac Power Supply module converts alternating current (AC) into direct current (DC) and distributes power to the backplane and to all the modules in the chassis. Each module includes status indicators and a power connector. When using the 220 V ac Power Supply module, circuit protection must be supplied by the customer. In a redundant configuration, two Power Supply modules operate in a load-sharing mode to increase system reliability. This configuration ensures that as long as one Power Supply module is active, all other modules are fully powered. When two Power Supply modules are installed, each normally runs at one-half of its capacity. If one Power Supply module fails, the other module takes over completely.

The Meru SA250 and SA2000 Services Appliances provide a hardware platform for Meru Center and Wireless Intrusion Prevention System (WIPS) and PCI Compliance Manager. The SA250 is designed for small enterprises, and the SA2000 is designed for medium to large enterprises. The services appliances support the following applications: • Meru Center – A wireless application platform to help IT build a more agile and open network. It unifies network applications under one platform and permits easy activation of pre-installed network tools. The Polycom HDX 4500 desktop video conferencing equipment is the big brother of Polycom HDX 4002, it comes with a larger 24” LCD display. Because of its bigger screen, the 4500 unit can sometimes be used for 2 person small group meeting as well.
