The WS-X6408-GBIC eight-port Gigabit Ethernet module can be configured with any combination of short-wave (SX) and long wave/long haul (LX/LH) Gigabit Interface Converters (GBICs). Cisco Catalyst 6000 series mixed media/fiber-based gigabit Ethernet interface modules are used in distribution and core layers, and in data-center applications. These gigabit Ethernet interface modules deliver wire-speed switched connectivity and support several switch fabric connections and traffic forwarding options.

WS-X45-SUP7L-E, the Cisco Catalyst 4500E supervisor engine 7L-E, is the leading borderless networks access and aggregation supervisor engine for the Cisco Catalyst 4500E series. The 6-slot Cisco Catalyst 6506-E Switch provides intermediate port densities, ideal for many wiring closet and core network deployments with exceptional functionality and flexibility. Any two Cisco Catalyst 6500E series Switches with Supervisor Engine 720-3C/720-3CXL/S2T-10G/S2T-10G-XL can be pooled together into a VSS. The M6412-A FC drive enclosure has dual redundant hot plug FC I/O/Environmental Monitoring Unit (EMU) modules that allow the controllers to distribute I/Os between the two modules and provides redundant paths should either FC I/O module become unavailable and the EMU functionality allows you to monitor and report the condition of the power supplies and fans. The enclosure also has dual redundant hot plug power supplies and dual hot plug blowers. The enclosure also has a hot plug Environmental Monitoring Unit (EMU). The M6412-A drive enclosure provides point to point connectivity within the enclosure. RAILS ARE NOT INCLUDED.
