The 4-port (NM-4A/S) and 8-port (NM-8A/S) asynchronous/synchronous (async/sync) network modules provide async connectivity with speeds up to 115.2 kbps, and sync connectivity with speeds up to 128 kbps. IBM Ultrium 4 Tape Drives can read and write LTO Ultrium 3 data cartridges and can read LTO Ultrium 2 data cartridges.
