The Network Termination 525/00043 (NT1) is a basic rate (2B+D) ISDN device that terminates the exchange line in the customer’s premises and interfaces with the customer’s Terminal Equipment (TE). Direct connection of customer’s TE can be made using the two ‘S/T’ ports. Alternatively, up to eight items of ISDN terminal equipment can be connected via an S-Bus wired to one of the ‘S/T’ ports.

The programmable buttons have dual colored LED indicators built into the buttons to alert users to the status of lines, extensions, status groups, or other feature keys. Four soft keys are also included for dynamic access to commonly used features on the Toshiba DP5122-SD. The stand of the phone is adjustable, allowing users to adjust the angle of their phone. A headset jack has been built into the Toshiba DP5122-SD for handsfree communication.
