This is router is the same as a normal cisco 827 router with the addition of four RJ11 FXS ports. In addition to the FXS ports it supports ADSL and has a single 10meg ethernet port for LAN use. The M6412-A FC drive enclosure has dual redundant hot plug FC I/O/Environmental Monitoring Unit (EMU) modules that allow the controllers to distribute I/Os between the two modules and provides redundant paths should either FC I/O module become unavailable and the EMU functionality allows you to monitor and report the condition of the power supplies and fans.
