The Cisco 871 Integrated Services Router extends the high-performance Cisco Integrated Services Router capabilities of running secure concurrent services, including firewall and VPNs, at broadband speeds to small offices. Easy deployment and centralized management features enable the Cisco 871 to be deployed in small office or teleworker sites as part of an enterprise network, by small to medium business customers for secure WAN connectivity, or used by service providers to offer business-class broadband services. The Meru SA250 and SA2000 Services Appliances provide a hardware platform for Meru Center and Wireless Intrusion Prevention System (WIPS) and PCI Compliance Manager. The NetVanta® 838 Enhanced Protection (EP) is a Carrier Ethernet Network Termination Unit (NTU) that terminates up to eight e.SHDSL copper pairs. Two 10/100 Ethernet ports are provided for customer use. The NetVanta 838 EP is designed for cost-effective deployment of voice and data services to small- and medium-sized businesses, supporting bandwidth indoors of up to 120 Mbps. However, typical deployments using outside plant copper for extended distances will be closer to 16 Mbps (2 Mbps per loop) service offering.

The Core Device CAL Suite is a set of four device client access licenses (CALs) and two operating system environment (OSE) client management licenses (MLs). Together they provide workstation licensing for key Microsoft server technologies. A device CAL gives one computer or other device access to a server regardless of the number of users. An OSE client ML licenses the management of one nonserver device. If a device has multiple OSEs, a separate ML is required for each OSE being managed.
