It is also needed for any authenticated devices accessing Windows Server as a web server or an application server. This offer provides one device CAL that authorizes one computer to access Windows Server, regardless of the number of users (for example, on a shared workstation). User CALs for licensing individuals and external connector licenses (ECLs) for licensing a significant number of external users are also available.
