Microsoft releases Service Pack 1 (SP1) for Office 2013, Sharepoint 2013 and Exchange 2013
The first Service Pack for the latest versions of Office, SharePoint and Exchange are now available for download.
It's Service Pack time! If your charitable organisation is running Microsoft Office 2013, Sharepoint 2013 or Exchange 2013 it's time to get into update mode.
Not only does the Service Pack roll the previous updates into one package, it also includes updates to improve compatability with Windows 8.1, Internet Explorer 11 and compatability with users using high DPI settings on their screens where toolbars and elements looked blurry (one of my personal bug bears). There are also updates for specific products within the Microsoft Office 2013 range.
There are a few options for accessing SPI:
- Download via Microsoft Update (click for instructions on how to access it from your computer)
- For system admins, you can download the Windows Installer (MSI) from the Microsoft Download Center:
- For more info on the Exchange update, visit The Exchange Team Blog
- Users will also be notified about an automatic update in the next 30 days
