Keynote: Peter Fletcher, The Fundraising Coach
Fundraising is special; Come help me change the world
Fundraising is more about people than it is about money. It is more about the donor than it is about the fundraiser. Hear from Peter on how to bring in passion as one of the key ingredients in the fundraising mix so that we are not just raising money, but we are really changing the world - of our client's and also of our donor's.

Fundraising 101: Back to Basics
Case study: Events and acquisition program at Prahran Mission
While Fundraising is part art and part science, there is a basic foundation on which every great fundraising program rests and a structure that excellent fundraising managers follow. Without these you will struggle. You could end up losing donors, spending huge sums on unnecessary activities and consultants, generally hate every minute of your work and ultimately give the sector a bad name. So learn from Erica Myers-Davis an experienced fundraiser- her mistakes and successes. This presentation will cover those fundamentals that will help you create a great and ultimately successful fundraising program for your organisation.

How to create a successful fundraising event
Case study: MS Australia major events and 2013 St Vincent’s Scrubs Run and Walk
Many not-for-profits enter the major events space with ambitions of raising hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars but they invariably fall well short of the target. In most cases organisations deliver excellent events but they fail to get the participants to fundraise. Bill will share his experience of growing MS Australia’s events revenue from $350,000 p.a. in 2006 to over $7 million p.a. in 2010. He will also present the key success factors for the inaugural St Vincent’s Scrubs Run and Walk which was held in March 2013.
